Found the errant photos (that is I had to take new ones).
So now you can guess. Seen them before? Do you know what they are? DH gave me a funny look when I asked him. Couldn't answer "new curtains" to this challenge :-)
I saw a friend making them and had to give them a try. Very handy to stuff in a bag or give to guests, especially now autumn is slowly creeping up on us.
That's right - little woolly slippers! Slip being a key word here, I think I might put some of that anti-slip stuff on the soles. Just in case. I think they are cute. Just right for using up some of that yarn in that big (bursting) box of mine.
And a new tunica for darling GD. It's made of thin cotton and she can also use it as a dress next summer.
I think it will look nice with a coloured jumper underneath and tights to match.
So two opam finishes for me this month.

I think you should make a pair with pom poms on the toes :-D
LOL .....
So many patterns for slippers, both patterns I have made have been welcomed , and a good way to use up the scrap from the wool scrap box.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tunic for your GD - it'll look wonderful! Love the slippers and yes, a pom pom would be great ;o)
