No, I haven't eaten too many cakes in this old-Saxon month of cakes. (I rather like that idea though).
I've got to choose the fabric for the middle of my Dresden plates.
#1 - all the plates have the same fabrics, but not in the same place. And I want the middle to be in one fabric, too.
#2 : slightly darker than the other greens, but also has the pink in the small flowers. A bit brighter than the photo shows.
#3: too pale?? Boring??
I see all the colours have come out a bit dull here , not easy taking pictures indoors yet.
So the question is .... to get me unstuck.... what do you think??? Other suggestions also gratefully received.
Oh I am going to have to eat some more cake before I can turn my brain to this puzzle LOL

ReplyDeleteI am ok with the first one and the third one--
all are really ok--but the second one might be a bit too busy and you won't see the plate pieces as well--
this is my story and I am stitching to it!!!

ReplyDeleteHey Lise! Hmmm ... a month of cakes sounds pretty yummy ... but then I really WOULD have to get back to going to the gym regularly, wouldn't I! Tee! Hee! Hee! I like the brighter blue spot fabric that you've shown for the centres, or a darker pink spot would look good too ... maybe some of each??
