more finishes

My sister is soon off to China with her son and his family to pick up another grandchild. They have waited so long and now the time draws near. 
I have made her a little quilt, backed with soft, white fleece. Just the thing to snuggle in on a long flight home. My first go at sewing triangles on paper - pure magic!
They are all very excited, especially the little girl who has waited so long for a sister. She can hardly wait. So I made her a bag from the same fabric for her odds and ends on her journey.
This finish is for my granddaughter. I'm so glad the pattern is rather large as I took ages to get it done. Should keep her warm on chilly summer evenings.
This month is turning out rather well, I think!
