First we had two couch-surfers from Germany to stay a night .... and of course we took them round in the area to see the sights.
Then DS #1 and the grandchildren came to stay a few days ... lots of cuddles and fun. And look what the little terrors got me to do!!!
I admit I closed my eyes and hoped my brain would shudder back in place (rather like jelly). They promised to take me on the the even bigger ones when they were big enough themselves. Nice little darlings, aren't they?
But they did enjoy picking blueberries in the woods just as much! Blueberries and cream, blueberry pie .....
we resembled chow-chows for a couple of days.
An hour after the gang got on the train homewards, a couple of friends popped in on their way back to Spain where they now live. We hadn't seen them for quite a while so it was late before we got to bed that evening! But a great evening with lots of laughs!
They had their dog, a young German Shepherd (Alsatian) with them .... Filix behaved like a gent and kept out of everyones way, but Tiffi ruled the roast! Soon put that giant puppy in its place! I just wish I had caught her antics on photo.
So now I think everyone is settling down to work or school - back to the normal routine. And I must try to get something finished soon .... so many wisps around .... (just being me! ... ordered some more yarn today - as if I haven't enough to get on with!)
Enjoy your weekend!
Hugs,
