Sew far sew good

Just finished appliquéing a stack of Dresden plates. I have really enjoyed working on these and look forward to sewing them together. But I need some fabric for the sashing and border. It's true!!!
I am going away for a week, but look forward to a shopping trip when I get back :-)
 Another baby blanket finished. Soft and warm. 
And another month nearly gone. Looking forward to May - one of my favourite months when spring brings out the most beautiful greens and pastels. Hopefully we will have a bit more warmth to go with them, too.

    Beautiful! so much work has gone into those blocks. It will be a real heirloom quilt.
