Another month gone and I have something to show you ..
oh, this purse was for my sister
and a few bits for tiny preemies
but this is the reason I have been busy - a new friend
Isn't she gorgeous?
She is a Parson Russell terrier and is 22 months old.
She needed a new home and we welcomed her with open arms.
Hubby and I have used a lot of time to make her feel safe in her new environment; long walks in the woods, training good behaviour (brainy girl - will do anything for food :-) and of course lots and lots of cuddles! Hopefully she will soon cotton on to not needing to get up at 7 every morning as well :-)
Congratulations on your new arrival- she is so cute. I am looking forward to being down to 4 hounds after the weekend. I bet your sister was really happy with the pretty purse. So kind of you to knit for the preemies. It was only when a friend had one that I made some for her. It felt like I was making doll clothes where everything was so tiny.
ReplyDeleteYour girl is just adorable, what is her name? what a cute little face she has. My friend owned a Parsons and she did agility with her. A fast and intelligent little dog, she was a great favourite with the class.
ReplyDeleteAhhh--a new kid in the house--!!!
ReplyDeletelove all your projects--I am getting excited about sewing once again--
if and when I ever get all this spring cleaning done--
I do declare though -- that even with all the things I have gotten rid of--
there is still a mess of some sorts on every table top, counter space and all the floor!!!
today was curtain washing day--did not get them all back up yet--
this 'young' body of mine decided it needed to sit for awhile!!!
