It's Christmas time!

Well, it is for me! I am so lucky, Di has sent me another parcel - for saying hello on her 100th blog. Sooo exciting when the post came ... parcels rapped with Christmas decor.. But I decided Di wouldn't keep me waiting that long! Inside was a cute Christmas card - which I will save and put up with the rest of the cards later this year ... and a "Little Bird Pinkeeps" chateleine & make-do pattern that is absolutely lovely.

And the big prize: a Christmas Mice sampler wallhanging from Cinderberry Stitches (by Natalie Lymere).

It is so pretty, Di! And the stitching is marvellous - such tiny stitches and all the same size! I see I must practice some more! And I think I have decided where to hang it for the festive season - on the wall in the hall that was freed when I moved the bookcase. (My dearest doesn't think we should fill the space with a new one).
